Answer: 
Hi! Thanks for your question! Depending on the weather conditions it will take about 10-15 minutes before the coals are ready to be poured into the grill and then another 10-15 minutes before the grill will heat up to 500 degrees.

Hello, Thanks for your question! Fill the chimney starter with the desired amount of charcoal, then place a lighter cube or newspaper underneath the chimney starter and light it. You will stick some coals and some newspaper into the starter and then light it with a fire source such as a lighter or matches.

Hello, Thanks for your question! The standard chimney starter hold about 95 - 100 standard briquettes. The compact chimney starter holds about 50 standard briquettes. Thanks!
