It is very easy to install, but it does not divert all the water to the shower head. Some water still escapes from the spout when using the shower. Other than that,it is good.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ramrodpete Good replacement for a front ips connection
The only way to see what connection you have is to remove the old tub spout and then you have a stub till you get the new one. I was surprised to find a copper stub with a threaded fitting which meant I needed a tub spout with a front IPS connection. It was available on line at the Home Depot and was shipped to the local store. Once I had it it was easy to clean up the tile and copper. Teflon tape the threaded end, screw on the tub spout, caulk and grout the area. With all the parts on hand it was easy and now that I know what to connect to, it will be simple to replace again to improve the appearance of the shower. The cost was low so when this one gets pitted it will be replaced.

A little teflon tape around the pipe treads in a clockwise direction and a few turns and it was on and ready.
Not many things you can get at such a value considering how much things cost. Should have bought 2 just in case.

Decent, inexpensive spout. My only complain is the diverter causes the flow into the tub to flair out, instead of dropping into the tub.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Addy Makes clinging noise when water falls during shower
"You get what you pay for" is an absolute phrase to use here.
It was too cheap compared to others in the market. Similar products were selling for $15 to $20. I chose this one since it was too cheap compared to others.
Every time I take a shower the water from the shower head falls over and the noise heard is similar to rain on a sheet of tin. Ting Ting Ting. Very annoying.
