Answer:
Personally, I would NOT use 2 60W bulbs.
that's 120 watts and that is super bright! We have the 40 watts in and it is very bright.
please read the instructions- the fan may not be able to handle the wattage.

Answer:
It is not possible to add blades to this (or any Westinghouse) ceiling fan. Changing the number or size of the blades on a ceiling fan would alter the amount of weight (and the weight distribution) the motor is working with, and that can damage the motor. Even if the motor were rated for the additional weight, adding blades would slow the motor down, which would reduce the airflow from the fan.

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 67 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value and Handsome! I purchased this fan for our breezeway to replace a fan the previous owner had installed. I nicknamed the old fan "The widow maker" because it hung to low from the ceiling plus it had a large glass white globe light..you know really old and dated. Numerous family members hit their heads on it. My husband installed this new fan in just minutes. He even commented how nice it was to have a product. 1. come with all the pieces. 2. Have simple instructions I was there to help but he really didn't need me. So I did what he always says when I want to help and he doesn't need it "Just stand there and look pretty" LOL our little joke. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Small but effective Bought this for our condo's kitchen. It was smaller than expected but puts out plenty of air. August 16, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Very small fan This fan is very small. It was probably my own fault for not realizing how small it would be, but just be sure to measure first. I'm not sure what size room this would work for. It would have be a very small room. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great--works great! Given the low price, I was worried this fan would look cheap. Not at all! It looks great! It is also nearly silent, even at top speed. Unlike a lot of small ceiling fans, it's lights are bright enough for a kitchen--but not glaring. It's a soft light. I easily swapped LED bulbs for the incandescents that came with it. Someone who wanted a dimmer light could just use lower watt bulbs. The beech blades look great with my oak and maple floors. The dark ("wengue") color is nice too. I may flip the blades over some day for variety. I unpacked everything and assembled the blades (5 minutes). Then my electrician removed old ceiling fan and installed this one in about 20 minutes. A handy person could do this on their own. And it gives a nice breeze! July 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DElightful purchase This ceiling fan has a lot of style and adds a very nicely updated look to my 1978 kitchen. Love it!!! S.B. August 16, 2016
