Customer Questions & Answers

How does the spray head switch to "stream" mode?

The description states that the spray head (not the spout) has two modes: "The spray head is a 2-Mode Spray (Stream and Spray)" and "2-mode pull down spray head (stream and spray)." There's nothing in the installation instructions about how to set the spray head to "stream" mode and there doesn't appear to be a control on the spray head that switches modes -- it just sprays. How do I switch it to stream mode?
Asked by: MartinJ
The Pro answer posted here doesn't answer my question. The lever to activate the spray head is obvious. According to the product description, the spray head has two modes: spray and stream. What is not obvious is how to switch the spray head to the second ("stream") mode because when you squeeze the lever, you get a spray, not a stream. I will contact Whitehaus directly.

Can the spray hose stay on without being held? is there a ring that keeps the handle depressed if wanted?

Asked by: gina
Thank you for your interest in Whitehaus Collection! This faucet does not have a ring to keep the handle depressed. If you want continues water then you will have to use the spout. The spray hose is designed to bring water where the spout does not reach.

How do I buy a replacement aerator screen for the pot filler spout?

I have tried various brands from Home Depot and they don't fit. Not being the original owner I don't have a warranty or receipt, and don't expect a free replacement, just need to keep up with regular maintenance. Seems silly to have to replace the entire faucet because of a small part.

Customer Reviews

Jem Collection Commercial Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Polished Chrome is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very sturdy!!! I went through 3 faucets that broke down on us in a 2 month span. They felt flimsy from the start and I should have known better. This faucet is unreal though. Esthetics wise, it's a beautiful piece. But most importantly it works well. The water flow can be on high, and if you switch between the faucet or spray nozzle, there is absolutely no drip.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointing I had to return it. Five days after installing, the spring that supports the spray hose loosened so much that the spray head would no longer dock in the bracket arm -- it dangled about two inches below. In addition, the description for this faucet is incorrect -- the spray head does not have two modes as claimed (stream and spray), it just sprays. I thought this was a quality faucet at first but it turned out to be very disappointing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Annoyingly short spout The product seems to be fine quality overall, but the spout for the faucet is so short it barely reaches over into the sink. My backsplash and counter stay wet constantly from water splashing when rinsing dishes and such. I wish there was an option to remove the spout altogether and use just the "sprayer" with a stream option and not have to depress the lever to use it. Fortunately, I didn't make the purchase, but I do have to deal with using it now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great commercial style faucet This commercial style faucet is well made and looks great in my kitchen. We paired it up with a black granite composite single bowl kitchen sink and the combination is sleek, elegant and functional. The water pressure is much better with this faucet than the old one we had. Plumber had to add a couple of longer water lines but that could have been due to our specific installation.
