The Wooster 9 in. Professional Roller Frame has a unique retaining spring that securely holds the roller to prevent it from walking off a cage. After painting, the cover removes with a single rap of the frame on the edge of a paint bucket. Its twin bearing system eliminates friction that causes graying and streaking in paint. The cage provides uniform, full-span support of the roller cover to prevent it from going out of round. Its handle is threaded for easy attachment to all extension poles.

  • Durable fiberglass-reinforced nylon cage and end caps
  • Polypropylene grip with reinforced threads
  • Retaining spring securely holds the roller
  • Smooth bearings eliminate graying and shank wear
  • Threaded handle for easy attachment to all extension poles
  • Cover removes with a single rap of the frame on the edge of a paint bucket
  • Made in USA

I have two painter poles. They are both Mr. LongArms.. One 12ft. telescope and another 2 - 4 ft. serves my needs at this time and works great with my frames.

Answer:
sherlock gt extentsion poles are a great investment, they lock the sherlock roller frame in place with a simple locking pin, so they wont loosen up.. It also has an adapter for other brand roller frames that screw on the ext. pole. These poles are very strong and are practically indestructible.

Yes, a 4' wood dowel pole which then had to be sanded down after a nasty splinter. Where has the quality gone? /sigh

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 90 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wooster products Great quality - always my first choice for painting accessories May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best roller Handle doesn't bend and lock roll in so it doesn't keep slipping off and creating roll marks. Spend the extra money it will be worth it April 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by No match for Behr Deckover This is a nice enough roller frame, but it cannot keep up with the Behr Deckover on my project. Unfortunately, the Deckover is too heavy and the cover "walked" off the roller just like all the others I had tried. Disappointing. April 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pro frame. Will last a lifetime for the average homeowner, DIY. Only kind I ever buy. I was a contractor for 30 years. As a homeowner/painter this frame will outlive you. April 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Smooth rolling I was looking for a roller frame that wouldn't 'catch' and 'stick' as I used it. Other, cheaper frames don't have the roller or ball bearings and they always seem to get sticky after several uses. I bought it to use with ceiling paint. April 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Solid Roller Solid sturdy handle with no flex. did not bend when applying pressure to the wall. April 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wooster Roller Replaced an older roller that was leaking around shaft. New one does not leak and rolls much better while retaining the roller with a internal clip. March 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Will never use a cheap roller again I've always used basic rollers before with good results but after buying this roller I won't go back to them. Nice easy, even roll out with no skidding or pad sliding after extended use. Design is superior to cheap rollers using 4 metal bows to support pad. Easy cleanup too, I thought the metal fingers that secure the pad from sliding would be an issue cleaning but that hasn't proven to be the case. Good product especially when used with a good quality pad. Worth the extra few dollars in my opinion. February 16, 2016
