Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible design - broke after 2 uses During my very first project one of them broke at the hinge that holds each side together. 2nd project same thing happened on THE OTHER sawhorse at exact same fastening point. Both are now useless because without the folding panel holding each side together they can't support much weight. Spend the extra money and get a quality product that will last more than two projects (very minor by the way). June 26, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by dead horses Folding shelves and leg holders broke first time I used them. Last pair I bought of same brand lasted 10 years. Something is up....and it is not the quality. November 22, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Save Your Money! i was hesitant to buy these and after initially using them thought they were great. Time would be the ultimate test, and they would prove to fail miserably. The first to break were the hinges/tool table on the bottom end, and not just a one piece failure, the whole mechanism and mounting brackets fell to pieces with light use. Then (maybe as a cause of no longer having the hinge support), a leg on one of the horses snapped in two under the weight of a sheet of T-11. I would not say that I misused or abused them at all. Very disappointing product didn't even last 6 months! December 2, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Broke under less than 100 lb Broke the first day I got them. Put a single sheet of 3/4" plywood on them and snap. I'm not sure where the claim of supporting 1000 lb came from, but the plywood only weighs 80 lb. March 26, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Weak Sawhorse First time I use the sawhorses, one of the pivots broke which I then super glued back on to repair it. Will now look for something to fasten on the sawhorse to replace all four pin areas. Since these were purchase for storage convenience and as a light duty work holding device, I only needed something light-duty and would NOT recommend them for heavy-duty work. September 1, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Broke Tray broke after a single use. I will return the item for a refund. This is the 2nd pair that I have purchased where the tray broke, it is a product defect October 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Folding saw horses These have come in very handy with our house remodeling. February 25, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor design Echoing other reviewers' observations. There are pins molded into the legs to hold the folding shelf, allowing it to pivot when the legs are opened. This probably looked good on paper, but it is incredibly weak. The pins shear off, seemingly when very little pressure has been applied. I knew I was in trouble when I opened one of the saw horses for the first time, and the pins on one of the legs just broke off. Needless to say, I returned the sawhorse, and HD exchanged it for another one. That one failed when the wind blew the saw horse over. I've since installed leg-opening restraints made from short lengths of 1/16-inch steel cable. That is all that is keeping this purchase from being a total loss. March 17, 2014
