This is an interesting little light that I'm sure kids would like. It is a little lopsided like a real mushroom. I assume that was intentional. It looks like an Amanita muscaria mushroom which is poisonous so if your kids like it tell them to know touch them if they see them in the wild.

My little boy loves it. Well made and fairly bright but not overly bright!

I'm going to use this product to light up my garden. I'm excited because it looks like it came from the Mario Party games. Kids will love it!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MacHic Nice light - would not call it a night light though
Packed and shipped very well. A little larger than I thought it would be. Gives off good amount of light. Color is nice too. Because of size and price of item, I would not call it a "night light" though. Switch on the cord is handy so that light does not have to be unplugged from outlet. Nice accent light.

Let me start off by saying I'm not sure how to describe this little mushroom. It's kind of weird how it's formed. It's body is not smooth like you would expect a plastic item to be. It's kind of looks like it's made out of plastic pellets and it's all bumpy. That being said it actually helps it have a "sparkle" effect when it's on which is quite pleasing to look at. This mushroom is about 6" wide at its widest by about 6" tall which is quite big. The light it puts off is kind of a bright white light which is nice and really makes it "glow" nicely. My daughter has it on the side of her bed on a little stand and it looks nice. Since it's LED it can run all night without getting hot or costing you barely anything on your power bill.
The one thing I don't like about it is that you have to unplug/plug the power pack into the outlet to turn it off/on. It would be nice to have a switch on the cord somewhere to turn off/on. I'm going to go to my local hardware store and buy one myself and put it in-line. My daugter being the lazy person she is does not like to unplug it and will let it stay on all day. Other then that it seems to be very sturdy and doesn't look like it would break easy. If your looking for a cute and very bright night light this is the one ;o)

OK these lamps aren't exactly high style. They are made from blobs of clear and colored styrene or similar plastic that have been deposited in an additive manufacturing process and formed to create various shapes. The lamps have a bumpy, blobby looking appearance, sort of like what you would get if you made a sculpture by building up blobs of hot melt glue, but this makes for a neat, sparkly look when you turn on the lights and they are fun to look at and my kids really enjoy them.
We got the mushroom and the turtle and I let my kids choose. My daughter chose the mushroom and it is a nice nightlight for the pile of dollies and stuffed animals who otherwise get scared in the dark. My son uses the turtle as a bedside lamp and it is more than bright enough for him to read by. They don't have on off switches, but I bought a couple of push-on/push-off switches and added them at the turtle's tail and the base of the mushroom so that the kids can turn them on and off easily.
Anyway, you won't see these in the nursery at Buckingham Palace, but they are fun and they contain a bright string of white LEDs which I am looking forward to repurposing when the kids get tired of the lights.
