Ziplevel replaces rotary lasers in numerous applications. No other instrument allows one person working alone to instantly set up and level or read elevations, either indoors or out, without math, line-of-sight and distance error or factory calibration. The Ziplevel PRO-2000 can now measure the thickness of a business card, the height of a mountain or anything in between. The Ziplevel PRO-2000 resolves measurements to 0.10 in. (2 mm) over a 200 ft. (60 m) circle and 40 ft. (12 m) vertically in Standard Precision and to 0.010 in. (0.2 mm) over a 200 ft. (60 m) circle and 4 ft. (1.2 m) vertically in High Precision (internal precision is double in each range). Access the powerful built-in Carry Function to measure over any distance or elevation on Earth without tedious tabulation or math. The Ziplevel PRO-2000 is now capable of measurements in ways never before possible. Now, contractors can use the sub-millimeter performance of Ziplevel over unlimited ranges to precisely level, set pool negative edge or read floor or foundation deviations. Engineers can easily measure real-time beam, floor or bridge deflection, plants can precisely level equipment and shops can build projects of any size without line-of-sight or distance error. Since 1996, Ziplevel has become the de facto standard in many applications and is used in all phases of construction worldwide. The possibilities are endless.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product My company(Foundation Repair) has all of our evaluators and crew chiefs use these. They work great and the manufacturer is very timely with all servicing and repairs May 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Years of easy. I've had a Zip level for years and love how simple it makes jobs. One man can do, without calculation, what used to take two. Its been exposed to years of job site abuse and still accurate. Its easy to use but robust enough to be very versatile. You can lay out a retaining wall without constantly getting up and down to read a stick. Training a new guy to use it takes virtually no time at all and increases productivity. Laying out landscaping, footers, pool walls, lawn grades and so many other things has never been so easy or fast. One downfall is the need to have it factory recharged after about 3 years but the cost is easily offset by the increase in productivity. Love it! April 18, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Requires software purchase to use PC port, check precision carefully PC port is non-standard and requires special cable, convertor, and software to be purchase separately. This requirement is not listed in specifications or even in instruction manual. Review accuracy specifications carefully. Unit is not as accurate as you might interpret when reading specifications. The precision of "0.050 inch" really means a dsiplay accuracy of 0.1 inch. I found the specifications and product requirements misleading. Have not decided if unit is worth the cost.
