Product Overview

The Zurn-Wilkins Model NR3XLDUC is ideal for use where lead free valves are required. Designed for installation on potable water lines to reduce high inlet pressure to a lower outlet pressure. • Direct acting integral by-pass design prevents buildup of excessive system pressure caused by thermal expansion
  • Maximum working pressure rated 400 psi, maximum working water temperature 140°F
  • Spring range 15 to 75 PSI; factory set at 50 PSI
  • Short lay length and flexibility to install in any position makes for an easy retrofit, repair is easy as valve is serviceable in-line

How do i figure out the right size to order?

I'm trying to replace my current unit and want to just undo it at the unions at each end. I'm having trouble figuring out what size is actually right size. what does 1 1/4 dimension actually measure on my current equipment?
Asked by: Dubz
Hello Dubz, The 1 1/4" dimension in this case refers to the pipe connection size of both the water inlet and outlet. In order to find the pressure reducing valve that will work for you take a look at the following: 1. Diameter of the pipe running to and from your existing valve. 2. Connection type for each end. Do you need unions, male and/or female threading, etc? 3. Pressure setting. PRV's always state the range of pressure setting it supports. 4. Overall dimensions of the valve. The closer you get to the same form factor the easier replacing can be. I hope this helps. Cheers, Chris

Do gaskets come with this valve?

Asked by: Rex

In the specification, it mentions that the product length is 8.25 inches. Is this the exact length of the product as measured from end to end.?

I measured my existing regulator and it measures 6.5 inches. So I am wondering if the replacement will fit the existing pipes without doing alterations.
