Rated 3 out of 5Â by billh2 Don't work on small wall heaters
These thermostats don't work with small wall heaters that are common in apartments in Southern California (such as Williams wall heaters). The heater thermostat wires don't produce enough voltage or something. I've tried to install them twice already (with a timespan of a couple of years between the installations). I wish there would be something written on the package.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Goodjobbob A great value.
This thermostat is much more responsive than our old one. It has already cut down on our oil usage.
It took about 10 minutes to install, and the directions were easy to follow. We are pleased with our purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Bobo Don't buy it!!!!
Needed to replace old thermostat. First tried 1 - then 2 - then 3 of these thermostats. None of them worked. Contacted Honeywell for assistance----no help. They said it must be "incompatible" or that the store had a "bad batch" of thermostats (Boy that was helpfull). Bought a different brand---installed it & it worked immediately! Stay away from Honeywell.

I suggest you not purchase this thermostat. Honeywell quality is suffering. This thermostat failed after only 13 months. The Honeywell transformer for my furnace failed in less than 11 months. Emailed Honeywell and customer service and they told me tough luck; warranty is only goof for 1 year. It's sad their product can only last a bit more than a year without failure. I would NEVER purchase or recommend a Honeywell product. Poor quality and customer service.
