Rated 4 out of 5Â by CLEJack82 Better Quality than Other Composters
I researched composters for a few weeks before deciding to buy this one. The price was a bit more than I wanted to pay initially, but after reading the bad reviews the cheaper models recived I decided to spend a little more money upfront to avoid having to buy a new compactor in a year because the cheap one broke. Overall this product is nice. It's not too big and it's not as big of an eye sore as a traditional compost pile. The dog cannot get into this one and the batches bake quicker producing more compost. The only complaint I have is that the barrel gets pretty heavy when it's full and liquid residue leaks from the opening when in the down position, but overall I would buy this product again.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by PamS easy to put together for a non diy
it was easy to put together for a non diy it is hard to get the door open but i guess that is good that it is securely shut...does leak some....have only had a couple of weeks so no compost created yet but spins easily...gets very hot in the sun so watch out when you touch it to spin it....they do recommend spinning with your feet now I know why...but it is easy to spin with your hands as long as it is in shade when you do it. Can't recommend for compost breakdown as that takes awhile and have not had it that long...

I did a lot of research before purchasing a composter, so I was fairly confident i would be happy with this one. It was pretty easy to assemble, and works perfectly. It spins easily, holds alot of weight, and even survived hurricane Irene! The only thing that would make it better is if it had a hole to drain out the juices from the compost (at first I put in too much wet stuff and it got really sloppy) But I drilled a hole easily and it works just fine.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by dagiolio spinning composter
My search for a good quality spinning composter began and, ultimately ended, with Home Depot. This was the first unit I investigated. I checked online with a number of sites that featured different models, but, interestingly, many had the very same unit at a minimum price of $50.00 more plus shipping. Needless to say, I ordered this composter from Home Depot.
This composter has lived up to my expectations. It was easy to assemble. The instructions say that two people are necessary but I found that, because of it's lightweight composition, it was easy to handle. It's a simple unit to work with, it's sturdy and the capacity is extraordinary. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in creating a better environment for their garden.
