Rated 5 out of 5 by A flashy reward for the ordinary cook I have been married & the chief cook for over 50 years. Doing the ordinary, like whipped potatoes, cookie batter, or cake mixes was ...just ordinary duty with the inexpensive ordinary mixer. Why did it take so long to buy the very best ? I don't know. But a month ago I purchased my first and beautiful Kitchen Aid mixer. Wow! It enlivens my small condo kitchen with its vibrant deep red color. It makes mixing cookies a happy event - so easy to use, to clean, to own. I love seeing it on the counter. I try to think of some reason to use it every day. My KA is a flashy reward for being the cook for 50+ years! DON'T YOU DARE PUT OFF GETTING YOURS TODAY! November 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by A real workhorse! I've had my Kitchenaid Artisan mixer a couple of weeks now and have used it for making bread and cookies so far. I start out with the paddle and switch to the dough hook when it starts getting thick. I can hear the motor straining on my heavy 3 loaf raisin bread recipe, but it gets the job done. I like the lock in bowl and the shield that keeps flour in its place. I also have the glass bowl which is wider and holds more. I like the tilt-head, I've never used the other kind. Two of my daughters have Kitchenaid mixers and love them, so I thought I'd get one too. I got the white and they think I'm boring, November 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best on the market I am really enjoying my Kitchenaid stand mixer! I frequently bake many recipes requiring a meringue (I.e. French Macarons, meringue cookies) so the reliable power had been excellent. We also have the meat grinding attachment that has made our competition Chili and burgers a success. My only criticism would be that they don't make them the way they used to. There is just a slight wobble at times from the plastic pieces whereas our grandfather's one from decades ago is still in AMAZING sturdy functioning order. Kitchenaid still had the best stand mixer on the market. November 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Why did I wait so long??? I am 59 years old. I have wanted a Kitchenaid mixer since I was a young girl. I could never afford to purchase one. Well I am finally able to purchase one and I am so very happy I did. What a difference using a Kitchenaid makes in my recipes!!! the dough comes out so light and airy. My cakes are not heavy and dense. My cookies are not heavy bricks anymore!! I love my Kitchenaid. I would tell anyone that is thinking of purchasing a Kitchenaid to not wait, get one as soon as you can! November 16, 2014
