Great product, good value. For the 7-day program, you have to program a temperature for when the the heat is on and a different temp for when the air is on -- the thermostat does not automatically switch from heat to cold to maintain one temperature. This was the one downfall, because I read in the description that it automatically switched. Easy to override program and set the temperature and then restart the program by pushing one button -- Use Schedule. Overall, I am very happy and, to be honest, after using it I am happy that the heater does not turn on in the middle of the day to increase the temperature by a few degrees.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by RJinAZ Terrible product
I've gone through 3 of these units over the last 3 years and all have failed.
One just died, blank screen.
The other two would get stuck on thinking it was 80 in the house and let the A/C run for hours trying to get there. Reality it was in the low 70's and we had to manually shut it off to stop the A/C from running.
We're pretty sure it was the cause of our last A/C compressor dying due to running all day long.
Easy to use and setup, but suggest you do not buy this.

Instructions easy to follow. It was quite intimidating for me to remove my old thermostat and install this new thermostat because it was my first time. The easy to follow instructions guided me well and I got this new thermostat installed within 30 minutes. I wished I had bought this sooner.
The thermostat is easy to use and program. I like how I would program the temperature to be warmer during the morning in the winter (4am -8pm - 75 degrees) and I would wake up to a warm house, but I prefer the temperature a little lower during night time when going to sleep (11pm-4am 72 degrees) that convenience is a must have for me.
The two batteries would last for at least a year, I have this for about five years now. This is a must have thermostat.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Jincy Love the screen touch, easy to use!
I bought for our new home. It was installed by contractor and I love the touching screen. I haven't read instruction but very easy to figure out by just playing a little. I also set it up to turn on the fan only to change air and it's very simple, easy to use. Even my 2nd grader son knows how to raise temperature and we just love the touch up screen. Better to spend little more money to buy touch up screen than pushing button.

Honeywell makes great thermostats, especially the high-end touchscreens. This is one such thermostat. It has great instructions, good tech support if needed, easy to install and use. It has all the features you ever need. Just set it and forget it. My system had only 4 wires. While this thermostat works on 4 wires, it requires batteries. I don't like to change batteries, so I rewired my 4-wire system to steal the green Fan wire and use that as a Common Power wire. The directions are online provided by Honeywell. Their WiFi thermostats require power. (This is not a Wifi thermostat.) So now I will rarely, if ever, have to change batteries. Minor issues: the backlit display cannot be set to permanently on. So in order to save batteries, it will come on when you touch the screen but go off after 5 seconds. Now that I have a powered thermostat, I would prefer the option to leave it on always. Also, the printed wire codes on the wallplate do not line up properly with the wire terminals so watch it when you connect your wires to the wallplate.
