Q:Could this be used for the floor of a shed? The shed is on a cement slab and the shed's frame includes 1.5 metal bars to attach the plywood to. So it will not be touching the ground or even the cement.

Answer This Question
A: Hello. Thank you for your question. Yes, but I would space the bars no more than 16” on center. Also we recommend vapor barrier for all flooring installation that have a concrete subfloor.

Answer This Question
A: Hello. Thank you for your question. Looking online at several mattress manufacturers, a queen mattress measures 60 inches wide and 80 inches long. A sheet of plywood measures 48” x 96”. I would measure your frame just to be sure on the size but one sheet is not wide enough for a queen size frame.

I used to spend a little less to get OSB board, but I never liked the weight or feel of the those boards. I do like working with plywood much more and I've come to realize that as a weekend warrior, I wasn't saving much money and not liking the product. Plywood is nicer to work with and cut. This 15/32" plywood makes a great roof sheathing and shear wall material for my small projects.

Put shelves up, the men took the measurements I gave and without hesitation, proceeded to cut the wood to the width and length that I needed.
Structural 1 Sheathing panels are produced from Western Softwoods, and are especially designed for engineered applications such as structural components where design properties including tension, compression, shear, cross-panel flexural properties and nail holding and bearing are of significant importance. Shear walls constructed with Structural 1 rated sheathing can have up to 10% more allowable shear strength than rated sheathing with the same thickness and nailing pattern. Structural I is of no additional benefit for other traditional construction applications.
Roseburg's Rated Sheathing panels are produced from Western Softwoods, and are especially designed for engineered applications such as structural components where design properties including tension, compression, shear, cross-panel flexural properties and nail holding and bearing are of significant importance. Manufactured to construction and workmanship requirements for grade, veneer and panel thickness, as outlined in the (APA) - The Engineered Wood Association's Product Standard 1-09. Recommended for projects where knots, splits and knot holes are acceptable or for use under drywall, roofing materials and flooring.
Approved for use as an underlayment for carpeting, hardwood and vinyl floor coverings. (Installation instructions must be followed). Cuts easily with a utility knife while strong enough to withstand extreme bending without breaking.
Roseburg's RigidFloor plywood underlayment is produced from Western Softwoods. RigidFloor has a touch sanded or fully sanded face, and a special face and/or inner-ply construction that resists puncture. Plywood underlayment also provides excellent dimensional stability and smoothness when applying finished flooring.
