Nor sure if this will answer you question but researched "Board to a Unit". There is a math calculations for that . JT, There is not a FL approval number for GP lumber. However, It is approved by The Florida Department of Commerce to be used.

1 had knots big knots 2 stacked leaving about 2 -3 " good wood. #2 had a void about 1 1/2" by about 10 " long . couldn't use the boards had to buy 2 more somewhere else!
