Worst deck product out there
My dream deck that I spend thousands of dollars on is now a pile of junk. I have not been able to enjoy the summer. I have spent almost $600 trying to remove it and havent replaced the boards it didn't protect and cracked. Pressure washed stripped w berh like the 1st time, sanded and Palm sanded. Berh stated they will maybe cover some product only. sent paint chip samples in? Remember, this stuff is so time consuming and very expensive. Very disappointing. Pay for your product you stand behind

Nice product
Our deck is 25 years old but fencing and rails are new. We used the solid chocolate on deck floor and semi-transparent chocolate on fence and rails.. It covered beautifully. We used a sponge applicator that made applying so quick and easy. My only complaint is that solid stain on our old deck floor and the chocolate semi-transparent on the new fence and rails don't really match. Solid has a reddish hue, the semi-transparent is more brown. Doesn't match perfectly but I can live with it. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I've used Behr sealant for decades and chose to stick with it for my fence, terrace and pergola "facelift" project, even though the great guy I hired recommended another product from the main competitor. I loved it when he started using Behr ST, was so impressed he said he could see why I wanted to stay with it and that he would start recommending Behr over what he had been recommending! It really transformed my very old, dried and discolored wood to looking almost new!

Like another reviewer mentioned, when applied it is more of a cedar red than chocolate even after two coats, but I'm still very happy with it. It's odd that the color turns out that way because the dried stain on the bucket is definitely chocolate. Even so, I'd buy this again, really pleased

Very nice color
I dont do alot of staining but this seemed to go on nicely and I really like the color. I pressure washed and sanded before applying with a staining pad.

Lighter than expected
I was hoping for something darker, but this color is sort of caramel. It doesn’t match the promo pics at all. Still looks good and we’ll see how it ages. Not too bad though.

I really like the product
I bought this not really knowing how it was going to turn out...I typically hate the look of cheap stained wood but this turned out surprisingly good! I created a wood slate wall and only used one coat. I took the cheaper Douglas fir wood and turned it into something that looks way more expensive ...very pleased. I do wish they had smaller sizes to purchase
