BEHR ULTRA Exterior Paint & Primer delivers excellent durability and stain-blocking properties. Paint with peace of mind, BEHR ULTRA Exterior Paint resists rain in as little as 60 minutes after application. This traditional, non-reflective flat sheen minimizes surface imperfections on wood and vinyl siding and provides excellent touch-up. BEHR ULTRA Exterior Paint can be used on stucco, brick and other masonry, as well as fences. *A PRIMER COAT MAY BE NEEDED ON SOME SURFACES. SEE BACK LABEL FOR DETAILS.

- On semi-smooth surfaces, use a high quality 3/8 in. - 1/2 in. nap roller cover, nylon/polyester brush or an airless sprayer (0.015 in. - 0.021 in. spray tip, 60 mesh filter). On rough surfaces, use a high quality ¾ in. - 1 in. nap roller cover
- Use BEHR ULTRA Paint as a primer for repaired or uncoated surfaces, including woods that contain tannins (two primer coats required for redwood and cedar) and heavily stained areas. Lock in stains with the first primer coat; if necessary, apply a second primer coat of BEHR ULTRA Paint
- Apply product on dry substrates when air and surface temperatures are between 35°-90°F (2°-32°C) and will remain between 35°-90°F (2°-32°C) for at least 4 hours after applying
- Extra-protective finish guards against damage from sunlight and moisture for a long-lasting freshly painted look with minimal maintenance

Q:Hello I want to paint my metal shower frame with this paint in matt black. Do I need to prime this first? If so what primer do I use? Or is cleaning and sanding enough for adhesion?

I haven't been able to use the Behr paint I purchased since it has rained so often I can't get time when wood is dry to paint, hopefully soon. But this is the same paint I used in 2020, it only needs touch up in a few areas

We provided the paint lady a Behr card that we got from Home Depot euro gray
Ppu25-17 using Behr Ultra exterior flat
Ultra pure white 4850
We expected a Gray color which would tie into our house color.
What we got instead was a dull white.
So I’m not sure where the we received came from but the label said Not Returnable and since we live about 30 minutes away we decided to use the mixed paint.

Incredible color and product. Steel door was pickled with vinegar then two coats applied. Came out fantastic. The ladies at the paint counter at my local Home Depot suggested this color and paint product and I am happy.

Not happy
Not sure what happened, this 5 gallons of paint is not working. only way to describe it is that it looks like there wasn't enough paint added. After mixing its looking purple and goes on real thin.

Behr Raven black flat paint with primer gave very good coverage with one coat on deck posts. Will be giving a second coat for longer wear.

Great color and quality
Used on our new shed and I just love the color. I also loved the new lid system and the option to use a pourable spout. Easy to use and great quality paint. Also found the Behr website helpful in finding complementary shades to match the trim and door.
