A:  It will depend on the chemicals in it.But, if you wet the plants before,during and after the process you should be good.

      Worked for us
      Our awning sat closed shut for 8 months due to the motor not working. Finally got the part to fix it. The smell of mildew alone would make you sick. For the most part this cleaning worked great. Will have to do it again but all in all satisfied. We used a brush, 5 gallon bucket and our hose.
