One of my favorite paints
Have used this in matte and satin on 5 pieces of furniture over the past couple of years and love it. I spray with an HVLP sprayer and have excellent results. Multiple, thin coats will reward you with a very smooth finish. It levels really well. I always prime first so I can’t say how well it does without a base primer on furniture.

Great paint to work with

Excellent coverage.

Unhappy Results
I have always used Behr but a professional painter recommended that I try this. I’m so sorry that I did. I just finished my second coat and will definitely need to do another 1 (or possibly even 2 more) to get it to look right. It also doesn’t blend together between the roller and brushing. You can clearly see the difference in the finish of each. I never had this issue before trying this. Going back to my old favorite (possibly even repainting with it and calling all this work a loss)

PPG Diamond Paint
First off, I painted for 11 years for a living, so, I think I'm qualified to comment on this paint. To start with, there's no such thing as one coat paint, unless you're going to use a very similar color. So, quit falling for that marketing ploy. Pros for this paint: It brushes and rolls very nice, creamy, not to thin, not to thick. I was able to get 300 sq ft. per gallon on primed and smooth drywall. Cons: I only have one. I bought PPG53-210 Diamond flat paint This paint is not flat, it dries to a satin finish. If I wanted satin, I would have bought satin. I'm not the only person to make this claim in the reviews. I'm glad the project was a personal one, because I would have to eat the cost to repaint if I was charging someone and they complained it wasn't a flat finish; I would have no argument. I've always used HI-Hide by Porter, now PPG, and that's what I'm going back to for flat finishes.

Coverage
I was told this has great coverage they were wrong!. It took 3-4 costs to paint each wall and it's going to need double the paint to finish the job very disappointed
