This anti-tip is pretty solid. Installation was easy, and it feels very solid. If you are looking to install this in a wall where you can't get directly to a stud you will want to pick up some anchors as there are none in the package. Initial testing was positive. I personally didn't stand on it, but it was more than capable of holding my dresser from tipping over. I would buy another one of these.

As you can see the Hangman Furniture Anti-Tip Kit is simple and easy to install. Only took about three minutes to secure my old grandfather clock to the wall so no danger of hurting the little ones. It says it can hold up to 400 pounds so I guess I am more than safe. Clocks are tall and un-stable so I don't want any tip overs. This is such a relief knowing the kids are safer.

I really like this little kit. It’s super simple, sturdy, and convenient. I used this to attach a large, heavy bookcase to the wall.
The process was simple. I found a stud, put the bracket on the wall, and screwed it in with the provided screws. The I marked where I wanted it to attach to the bookcase, predrilled the holes, and mounted the bracket. The metal pin slides into the bracket and the small cable is sandwiched between the two openings. The pin is secured by a cotter pin.
I really like how easy it is to attach and remove the connection. This allows me to get to the router behind the bookcase within having to unscrew anything.
This is a more elegant method than using screws and chain.
