Hello, can this paint be used on the heat tents in a backyard gas grill? If not is there any Rust-Oleum product that can be used for that? Thanks.

Happy to help, Al! Rust-Oleum products are not recommended to be exposed to direct heat/flame. They products will scorch or peel off. We do not offer any products that we are able to recommend for you but we do wish you success in your application ! - Rust-Oleum Product Support 1

Will this work safely inside a microwave oven?

Asked by: Dennis
Remodeler, If you have a microwave range hood, I am pretty sure that $5 is much cheaper than $300+ to replace it.

Will this paint work well on an electric range top?

I need to do some touch up painting on my GE electric range. I bought some white appliance paint but it says it is not to be used on range tops due to the heat factor. Will this one work or can you recommend another a spray paint for my range top?
Asked by: Feather
Stoves are actually powder coated not painted. I touched up a few chipped places with regular appliance epoxy repair on mine, but they were small and not very near the heat source. The cost and trouble of taking it apart to get it powder coated may be cost prohibitive. I have more rust on the sides. I am trying to get the rust off then treat it with something to prevent rust. I am not sure if I will actually use any type of paint due to the large area affected and the heat from the oven or if I have to I plan to use magnets to attach a metal covering to the sides to cover the area.
