Cheap quality
I purchased a bag which came out great & worked wonderfully but wasn't enough. I went back & bought another bag, this time it was literally loose rocks throughout the bag. So I went back returned it bought another to just get the same result again! Very frustrating carrying a 60lb bag back & forth to just get the same result. You can see the difference in the"asphalt" in photo. I'm waiting until they get a new pallet of them to get another. Sakrete needs to do some quality control!

What you should know.
Sakrete was good for most part of the job.
Driving on it was ok, but when I parked my car on it overnight my tires were glued to the Sakrete. When I moved my car, my tires picked up some of the Sakrete and left me with pot holes.

well read the bag no really read the bag.
first size is not what it says it covers bag and website are different may cover what is on bag but no where near what the website says 30 some odd bags latter and two more trips we got what we needed. HD dropped the bag on this one like really dropped the ball. Yes I should of double checked I even estimated more but site should be accurate.

Works well
Used this to patch the front of my driveway that was tearing off . Removed the debris, filled with this item and tamped it with a tamper .
After tamping , applied a thin coat of portland cement on top and tamped it for some more time. The final results were great . Used trowel patch to seal off the ends and then also sealed the driveway to have a nice even color. Been a month now and everything looks good.

Used many bags of this blacktop patch and tamper to fix my driveway last summer.
Quick tips:
1) You will want to measure the size of the patch before purchasing this and use the back of the bag as a reference - as you'll likely need more than you realize.
2) Wear throwaway gloves and likely clothes - this stuff is sticky when working with in hot weather.
3) If you used this on a driveway - you'll want to use an asphalt sealer to even out the color. Purely optional - but makes it look much better.

Good stuff, good price. easy to work with..,I'd buy it again! I Filled a 3' x 3' x 4" pot hole in my driveway. with 4 bags after making edges and a flat walls inside the hole.layer blacktop patch and inch at a time ending with a 1/2 rise above the surface.Then added a light dusting layer of concrete mix on top. which help harden the surface and made it match my faded driveway.I suggest just follow the instructions on the bag and mix in some concert dust. I could have have mixed it into the blacktop patch but only applied it to the top surface twice over a two day period. The wife is happy so I am too.

We used disposable gloves and the Blacktop Patch seemed easy to work with. We had a good size gap to fill so that people wouldn't trip over. We put a layer down and then pressed down by stepping on a board we already had, then added more and pressed down. It was soft for a couple days, but its firm now after a week.

I used the product to fix a larger area on my driveway than the recommended area and am very happy with the results, it's almost like I resurfaced my driveway with new asphalt. The driveway was damaged due to water collecting over the years after a rainfall. I am not sure of the coverage it says however (I could be wrong).
