Q:With what do I clean my brush after varnishing my cabinet
by|Jul 6, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: We do not recommend using Chip brushes for cabinet work, as they do not hold much material and will shed bristles. These brushes are recommended for epoxies, adhesives and solvents. For varnishing cabinets, please consider a good quality applicator specifically designed for your coating. Regarding clean up, that will vary by the type of varnish you use - generally, paint thinner for oil based varnishes, soap and water for water based coatings. Please refer to the manufacturer's instructions on the back of the can to make sure you chose the right option. Thanks,

Q:Can this brush be used on the edges of a driveway to seal and fill with the Driveway Filler Sealer, before using a squeegee to seal and fill the driveway? (Sealing and filling the edges would be done to prevent the Sealer from the out side of driveway.)
