A:  Yes, I do believe the top is solid wood. You can see the wood grain on the ends of the table top. The table top has the wood grain on the surface also, so it does not make the best writing surface. I really do love the table! I would not recommend cutting the table top. The metal table legs flair out near the bottom to almost the same size as the top.

A:  Hello, my name is Glauber Contessoto. I ordered a table from your company (item # BTABLE30/BTABLE40) and it arrived yesterday. Not only did the package arrive extremely mangled to the point where I had to tape a portion of the box so it wouldn't fall out, but once I got home and opened the package the table was damaged. The person at the UPS store I picked it up from told me it arrived that way to them and I had to ask for some tape just to keep the box together. IMG_5934.JPG Her name is Gabby and she is witness to the way the package arrived. Aside from whoever handles shipping for you guys the actual packaging is brutally flawed. There isn't one piece of foam for the table corners or the legs to protect them and there also isn't any dividers put in to cushion the items in the box. All I found in there were very thin sheets of bubble wrap that looked like sleeves barely covering the items inside. It's no wonder everything shifted around and ended up damaging the table in the process. There is no possible way I'm the only customer with this complaint. You guys should really investigate your packaging department and make sure they add pieces of foam, dividers, bigger pieces of bubble wrap and maybe some cardboard to cushion the items inside to keep them from getting damaged in the future. I took quite a few pictures to showcase what the box and the product looked like when I received it. The table is all chipped and damaged on the ends and the sides have indentations as well. I would please like my money back because this is no way to do business, I have also included a screenshot of my receipt. I really hope you guys fix the way you package your products in the future. Thank you.

They are solid, easy to clean, space-saving in our relatively small space (you can stack them when you need to), not as comfortable as island stools with backs, but those take up too much space. This works for us. They have a modern loft-style vibe. I need just three in the kitchen, so use the fourth at my workbench in the garage. Last but not least, the price was great.
