Answer This Question

A:  Hi MinnesotaPainter, thank you for your question. Our Marquee Exterior Paint is self-priming, and you do not have to reprime before recoating the surface. To prepare your surface, I recommend making sure that it's clean and dry and scuff sanding if glossy for the best adhesion. Have a great day! -Lina

A:  Hi John, thank you for your question. While Home Depot may be able to tint the paint darker, my concern is that this may cause issues trying to match the paint in the future. In this case, it may be best to select a new color that you'll be happy with. Have a great day! -Lina
