A: Hi Rodge, thank you for writing in. You can safely apply our Marquee Exterior Paint at 35-90 Fahrenheit (2 - 32C). Anything below or above that range may cause issues, particularly within the first 24 hours after application. -Michael

A: Hi Mtsoxfan, thank you for your question. We do not recommend our Marquee Paint directly on fiberglass. However, since the doors are pre-primed, it might work. I recommend testing a small area for adhesion. We typically, recommend our Bonding Primer No. 432 on fiberglass before painting. Have a great day! -Giovanna

Q:Would this paint work on a Fiberglass exterior door?
by|Oct 6, 2021
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Hi Lori, thank you for writing in. You'll first need to prime the door with our Bonding Primer 432 before topcoating with our Marquee Exterior Paint. I recommend applying the primer in a small area on your project to see how it adheres; if you're noticing issues, scuff sand the fiberglass before priming. Once the door is properly prepped and primed, you'll be able to apply the Marquee. -Michael
