A:  It's best to lightly sand away the gloss for better adhesion, use a good house wash, let it dry, scrape and sand the areas with pealing paint and then prime first before painting. Priming always produces a better longer lasting paint job. Mike

A:  Hi Doyle, thanks for the question. We don't recommend using hvlp sprayers for spraying our products, because they tend to be thicker than what the sprayer will accept. Instead, we recommend using an airless sprayer with a .013”–.015” spray tip, Have a great day! -Ronald
