Q:Can this paint be used to paint vinyl siding?

A:  Hi FixerUpper, thank you for your question. The Ultra Exterior Satin Paint is an excellent choice for vinyl siding, providing a durable, dirt and fade-resistant finish. When choosing a paint color, remember to select a color similar to or lighter than the vinyl's original color, as darker colors can absorb more heat, which may result in a warping of the siding.     Q:I'll be painting lap siding. I understand this has a primer in it, but I prefer to do a primer coat first. That being said, which primer would be best to use with this paint?

Yes, new containers of the same product and color should match; however, please keep in mind that if the old paint has faded or become dirty/stained over time, the new paint may not match exactly.
