Q:I have an L shaped concrete footing about 4 x 4 feet long with a 4 foot cinder block wall on it to support a 8x8 deck pier. It has settled about 3/4 of an inch towards the outside, I want to dig under the footing and use this jack to lift it the 3/4 inch and leave the jack encased in high strength cement for additional support. Will this theory work?
