A:  Not totally sure on roof applications. The sun and heat might degrade quicker. There are urethanes that might do better for sealing skylights. I tend to shy away from silicones for outside sealing. Just my opinion though.

A:  Yes, this will work for skylights. It would be better to use during installation. Then followed up with a roofing tar like product. As for a leaking skylight, it will still work, if you find the right spot.
