A: It goes into what we used to call the cigarette lighter plug. We have these chargers in all of our trucks and now rarely use the wall outlet type. More handy to have the charger where you need it- in the field!

A: I think... it is only the voltage that matters. It has to be a 12 volt battery. Amps can vary. That's my opinion.
