Questions and Answers for Everbilt 3-1/2 in. x 1/4 in. Radius Satin Nickel Door Hinge

A:  This Everbilt 3-1/2 in. x 1/4 in. Radius Satin Nickel Door Hinge (30 Pack) is sold as one a pack. We will work to correct this information and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

A:  These pins apparently cannot be removed. The pin has a head at both the top and bottom of the hinge, thus keeping it from opening. Perhaps Everbilt changed the style of the hinge without updating its description. See pics.

A:  For the Everbilt 3-1/2 in. x 5/8 in. Radius Matte Black Door Hinge Value Pack (24-Pack), please make sure you are placing the pin in the hole underneath the bottom cap. Also, check the hinge top to make sure it has not been installed upside down with the sealed top of the pin is at the bottom instead. Instructions to remove a pin: To remove the pin, use a hinge pin punch, or nail and hammer method to remove the pin by placing your pin punch/nail in the hole underneath the pin cap at the bottom of the hinge and tap up. A:  For the Everbilt 3-1/2 in. x 5/8 in. Radius Satin Nickel Door Hinge Value Pack (12 per Pack), the hinges are rated to hold 60 lbs. per 3 hinges.

A:  The Everbilt 3-1/2 in. x 1/4 in. Radius Satin Nickel Door Hinge opens to 310 degrees.

A:  No idea. We've had ours for a couple of years, and they never squeak. WD40?

A:  I think you might've wiped off to much grease, I'd add a light amount to the pin & where the hinge flexs. Should be fine after

A:  I have the same issue. I tried WD-40 but the squeaking came back after a couple months.

A:  One suggestion to quiet the squeaky Everbilt 3-1/2 in. x 5/8 in. Radius Matte Black Door Hinge Value Pack (24-Pack) would be to remove the hinge pin and coat them with a lubricant such 3 oz. A:  The Everbilt 3-1/2 in. x 5/8 in. Radius Oil-Rubbed Bronze Door Hinge Value Pack (12 per Pack) will rust over time if exposed to outside elements like moisture and sea water. But, this Everbilt 3-1/2 in. x 5/8 in. Radius Stainless Steel Commercial Grade with Ball Bearing Hinge may work for you because they are Stainless Steel and does comes as 1 in a pack. A:  There are no waterproof door hinges. Any door hinge could technically be used outdoors. They will need to be greased periodically to prevent them from squeaking and ceasing up. Some more so then others.  Typically a ball bearing hinge will work quieter, smoother and for much longer than a standard butt hinge with pin. It does not matter if used indoors or outdoors.
