A:  As far as I know, this is only available in white. It seems to be a vinyl clad mdf board, but does accept paint and spackling. May not be the best choice for outdoor use on your park bench.

A:  The material is somewhat rigid. An 8 foot span probably would want some center support as opposed to ends only.

A:  Lil, MDF board can hold 50 lbs per square foot. This is assuming that there is a support on both ends with proper spacing, and has support at least every 17". Other factors such as thinckness of the board will have an effect as well.

A:  Hello sam, MDF is less expensive than wood but it is also not the best choose when exposed to moisture and humidity. Also it does not have the structural strength to hold fasteners and rigidity of wood. It cuts the same as wood. Charlotte of the Home Depot Community.
