Q:On a counter span of 81in long and a depth of 12in overhang, how many brackets do I need?

A:  If you have solid 3/4" plywood under the top you will not need any brackets or counterbalances at a 12" cantilever.

    A:  It can be mounted in either fashion, just be sure you do not have more than 4" unsupported weight off the front edge of the bracket and installed into the stud.

      Q:What is the required distance between supports for a 25 inch countertop (no cabinets underneath)? Can these be mounted to an outside concrete block wall?

      A:  This bracket is not recommended for a countertop with no cabinets. You will need to use a gusseted bracket for a wall hung counter. The Freedom is designed to be used with a cabinet base and spacing is no greater than 18" apart.
