A:  Hello - Thanks for connecting with us about the third rack on this unit. It is hard to view in the pictures. The third rack is the gray object in the picture of the unit opened. You can view the third rack better in the pictures on our GE Appliances website. Just enter the model number into the search bar of our site and you will be able to view all the pictures of the 3rd rack that is located at the top of the unit. We hope this helps! A:  You choose your settings prior to closing the door, or they may also show as you look down, but that might mean the dishwasher might not be flush with your counter top.

                  Answer This Question

A:  Hi, and thank you for reaching out. This model does not come with a water softener. We recommend to use rinse agents such as Finish® Jet-Dry® Rinse Aid to prevent spots and prevent new film build-up. If water is extremely hard, a softener may be required. We hope this helps. Take care! -Mel@GEA
