As long as you retain between a 5 and 25 degree of angle or 1/12 to 6/12 pitch on the gutter guard once installed and ensure you have the front edge of our gutter guard lay flat on the front edge of your gutter, then you should achieve optimal performance.

A:  The wire mesh part can but for the metal rail I used a multitool/oscillating tool with a metal blade. The snips were too difficult as some parts of the metal rail are built like a T.

A:  Hi Cindy! You can determine the width of your gutter by measuring from the back, top edge where your house meets your gutter to the very front outside lip of your gutter. If your gutter is 5" wide or less, you will need our Standard 5" version. If your gutter is anything over 5" wide up to 7" wide, you will need our Super 6" version.

A:  Hi Eric, The traditional way of install the Stainless-Steel Micro-Mesh Gutter Guard is to slide it under the shingles. In cases where you cannot slide the gutter guards underneath the shingles, you can use the bending method where you need to bend the mesh up or down and screw through the mesh and into the fascia, drip edge or back of the gutter. A:  Hi Jerry! They are the same product in design. The only differences are the brand names and the kit sizes that are offered as well as Viking Gutter Guard has screw only installation options, whereas this one has both screw and the 3M VHB (very high bond) tape installation options.

A:  Hi Tony! For Inside Corner, slide one piece so that it is flush with the back corner. On the second piece, trim back the aluminum rails by approximately 1 inch then tuck the exposed mesh down inside the gutter adjacent to the piece that is already in place. For Outside Corner, bend one section down in gutter to allow room for adjoining section then cut the adjoining section at 45 degrees.

A:  Hi Robert! Yes, the 3M VHB Double Sided Adhesive Foam Tape is pre-attached under the front edge of the gutter guards.

A:  Hi MajB! Yes, our gutter guards can handle hot temperatures. The 3M Very high bond tape that we used is similar to the one used by auto mobile manufacturer to stick their logo on a car.
