Q:Where are the door hinges attached? The picture in this product listing shows the door opening to the left with hinges seem to be attached to the stapled on "blind cover" piece. But the specs page illustrates the door attached to the cabinet end/side and the door swings away from the blind cover piece. This makes more sense to me as I don't see how the hinge could be attached to the thin "blind cover" piece.

Thank you for your inquiry. Although we can confirm that 27 in. Cambridge Blind Wall Corner Cabinet in White is designed to be hinged on the left or right hand side of the opening, the interior hinged area is attached to the "blind cover" piece filler board which is 5/8 in. thick.

Q:I see the sides of this cabinet are unfinished? Do they sell a "cover"? I want to install this in my kitchen - but there is a window that will prevent me from placing another cabinet next to it and having the wood exposed won't work.

A: Charline,
Thank you for your inquiry. Since this is a corner wall cabinet, the exposed ends are unfinished as they are typically covered by other cabinets that are installed directly next to it. However, we can confirm that we do manufacture end panels, mouldings, and fillers, therefore, we best suggest that you see a Home Depot associate for details and options.
Best Regards.

Q:Does this need a filler in between the next cabinet for the door to clear?

A: Ed,
Thank you for your inquiry. We can confirm that a filler will not be necessary for the door to clear. If you were to view the 3rd image (the open view) you will see that the door opens inward and should not interfere with surrounding cabinets.
Best Regards.

Q:What is the door measurement
by|Dec 17, 2017

Answer This Question
A: WoodCrafters answer is not helpful. They only give the dimensions of the cabinet. What we are trying to find out is how WIDE just the DOOR front is. According to the specifications sheet, in the Isometric front view, the door opening is 14.41" which makes the "blind" side 12.49" (to equal the 27" width of the cabinet). I think that makes sense because the blind side must match up to the side of the adjacent cabinet which is 11 inches, leaving approximately a 1 inch length of the "blind cover" exposed to allow for the adjacent cabinet's door swing.
Anyone from Wood Crafters care to comment on this?
