A:  Yes, it is possible to remove the doors by carefully removing hinge screws at top and bottom of each door leaving just the cabinet. Ken J

A:  The hinges are inside so the face is not exposing the hinges...cept for small areas top nd bottom..silver metalish...very small area. You really want brass....could paint or order with brass??
