A:  There is a decorative nut in the center of the light. Turn to your left to remove.

A:  Unscrew the bottom nut and remove the cover...when putting the cover back on, make sure the flange is tight to the base to insure a weather tight fitting.

A:  The directions are in the box. There are also diagrams showing how the light attaches to the electrical box with the screws provided. If you are now sure how to install maybe hire an electrician.

The fixture should already have all the wiring pre-connected and you should only see 1 white wire, 1 black wire and 1 ground that you would connect to your junction box. If the fixture has more loose wires that what the diagram shows, We would advise to have Home Depot replace the fixture.
