A: Mine lasted about 2 years.

A: LEDs generally last a long, long time. But as you mention, there's nothing on the box that says what the expected lifetime should be.
Unfortunately, the LED source is integrated into the fixture and isn't replaceable. Being somewhat handy, if one of mine failed, I'd drill a hole in the plate where the LED is and install a standard Edison socket and a replaceable LED lamp, but I realize that's not an option for most people. That said, I have 4 of them (3 on a timer used every day) and they work great and look good.
Good luck!

Q:Are these dimmable and used with a timer

A: Not sure why you would want to dim one of these, but I have 3 of them together on a digital timer. Also not sure how you would wire a dimmer in there, either-- but you could sure try it. Some LEDs blink or flicker with dimmers, so you'd have to experiment and see. Good luck!

A: We do not recommend dimming exterior light fixtures, however this fixture can be used with a timer. Thank you!

A: I did not keep the packaging for this product, but I am assuming no. You might inquire at the store in person. Perhaps they will let you open a box to look up the documentation inside. Good luck!

A: The glass on this led sconce was delivered to me broken. I ordered it two more times after that and each of those arrived broken as well. I called the number on the light fixture box and was not able to get replacement glass through them either. Good luck!

Q:I don't see any indication on the box as to whether or not they are dimmable.

A: I'm guessing "no" for the same reason you cite: the box doesn't claim you can. But frankly, why would you? If it's too bright, you could glue a piece of semi- opaque plexiglass over the LEDs, but that wouldn't be adjustable. Good luck!

A: This is such an unfortunate situation. Mine are still going strong and it will be coming up on a year of installation. It might be worth contacting an electrian to verify nothing is wrong with building wiring.

Q:We have had this fixture for three years and it’s dead. Does that seem normal?

A: No the LED should last much longer. Mine are only a bit over a year old but they are already rusted and pitted. I think these lights are very low quality and poorly made. Not Home Depot at its best sad to say.

A: LEDs should last longer. I think the box says something like 10+ years.
by|Nov 1, 2018
A: I've often heard that "normal" is a cycle on the dryer... but, no, I would expect longer life than that. Unless, of course, you leave it on for a long period of time. I would expect mine to last 4 to 5 years--that's 7 hrs/day (they're on automatic timers) x 365 days = 2555 hours/year. 10,000 hour life is a figure I often see on packaging for LED lamps.
Unfortunately, the LED lamp assembly is "non-replaceable," which means you need to purchase a new fixture.

A: Doesn't seem normal. But we've had ours for about 16 months and they are totally rusted out. Not a great product.

A: I bought a set and one went out after 3 years also. Only one LED turns on now, but it flickers like slow strobe lighting out of a horror movie.
