Q:Can I use this by a sink?
by|Mar 4, 2021

Answer This Question
A: Yes, you just need to properly wax it. I went with Odie’s Oil, it was a lot easier/quicker than the oil they suggested. It only took one coat. If you have it next to the sink, you may want to consider a second coat after a couple of weeks. I have this in my laundry room, and it has held up to water very well with the wax/oil that we used.

Q:Is this a solid material or a veneer( thinking about routering an edge profile)?
by|Aug 29, 2020

Answer This Question
A: Solid wood, you can route any edge profile that you like, then lightly sand and oil, the wood tends to discolor if you route too slowly or use a power sander instead of hand sanding
by|Feb 18, 2021
A: This is a solid wood and all edges will have to be sealed. We have a great website www.woodkitchencountertops.com this is great for installation and maintenance.
