A:  Hi Bob. Thank you for the question. Our panels are 100%acacia hardwood. They make beautiful tables. We offer a hardwax oil through Home Depot online. It is 100% organic, food, and allergy safe. 471-7100V-025V is the model number for brown and 471-2200V-025V is the number for clear. A:  Yes, you just need to properly wax it. I went with Odie’s Oil, it was a lot easier/quicker than the oil they suggested. It only took one coat. If you have it next to the sink, you may want to consider a second coat after a couple of weeks. I have this in my laundry room, and it has held up to water very well with the wax/oil that we used.

A:  I got the oils and treated it for a week Looks good.

A:  Oil both sides and let soak in for a day before installing, re-oil with food safe wood oil twice a year for light use and every 3 months for heavier use

A:  Solid wood, you can route any edge profile that you like, then lightly sand and oil, the wood tends to discolor if you route too slowly or use a power sander instead of hand sanding
