Q:Could you set a washing machine or dryer on these pads?

Answer This Question
A: Hello Kate
The plastic storage pads would support the weight of a washer or dryer, however, you would may want to add a larger caster under the feet to distribute the weight and not have it interfere with one of the channels in the storage pad where they are screwed together.

A: Hello Flash
Our plastic storage pads are made from recycled plastic which is not an outdoor grade with UV so they are not recommended for exterior use - They will also be slippery when wet - Ultimately not a good solution for your shower

A: Hello Greg, Each of the four stringers are 1 1/2" wide leaving 14" between each stringer. If you were to trim the storage pad to an even edge with three stringers remaining, the width of the storage pad would be 32 1/2". Another option would be to unscrew the storage pad, cut to the length you need and then reassemble the storage pad.

A: Hello Itay7
Our pallets are not recommended for exterior use - We use recycled plastic and is not an outdoor grade compound - UV rays will break down the plastic and it will become brittle and discolored.

Answer This Question
A: Hello
If you are referring to using them for an outdoor deck, our plastic storage pads are not recommended for exterior use. If your needs are for an indoor deck they could be placed next to each other for a larger storage space.

Q:Is this long enough to put a washer and dryer on?
by|Jan 25, 2021

Answer This Question
A: Really depends - my washer and dryer together would be too large for these pallets. And they are only 18” deep. They can be secured together to make them deeper, however at that point it would be more cost effective to just get a deeper one. They are sturdy.

A: This plastic storage pad is 18" Deep X 48" Wide. You may need a couple of these to build a platform or check out our other plastic storage pads and pallets we offer through home depot for perhaps a better size. In the search bar on Homedepot.com enter Jifram and they should all show up
