The handle will be pulled away from the faucet to the right to turn it on for a cold start. The temperature will also gradually heat up as the handle is pulled towards you. A:  Thanks for your question, unfortunately there is no way to stop the handle from going back, but the spout has a 360 degree swivel so you could reposition the handle to the center of the faucet instead of left hand or right hand sides.

A:  No it can not. I will saw the back swing is about 30%. Maybe ½ inch past the back edge of the sink.
