A:  I thought I had that happen until I realized the top of an item placed at the back of the rack was pulling it out when I moved the 3rd shallow rack. I don't know if that applies here, but it's just a thought.

A:  33.5 is the minimum clearance. Be sure to measure both sides of the space for height. If you have granite / solid surface counter tops . There are side mount knock out holes to mount to the cabinet sides. Note pre-drill to avoid splitting of rails.
