            A:  Hi there! This model French door refrigerator has 3 different compartments within the freezer: the top is the ice bin, which is dedicated to the ice maker and ice storage. Below that is a pullout drawer, which provides extra storage within the freezer compartment. Finally below that is a Durabase, which provides storage for larger food items. ^Chris

              Q:Newly installed refrigerator. The temperature is set for 37 but the inside is reading between 40-43. I turned the temperature down to 36 but still getting the same inside readings. Is this normal or is there something else I should try?

              A:  Hi, The icemaker will not begin to operate until it reaches its operating temperature of 15 °F (–9 °C) or below. It will then begin operation automatically if the icemaker power switch is in the ON (I) position. It takes about 12 to 24 hours for a newly installed refrigerator to begin making ice.
