A: Hello Noelle, thank you for your question! This DVCL-153PR in question would work in this application, referred to as a 3-way when there are two switches controlling the same light. The dimmer may go on either end of the 3-way, and the other location will remain the existing mechanical switch. See the below spec sheet for more information:
