            A:  Hello, There should ne a threaded bottom section that the cotter pins slides through then you tighten the set screws. At the top of the supplied 6" down rod there should be a hole on each side for the pin to slide through to hold the hanger ball in position.                 A:  Hello, No it will not if its not a LED rated wall control. If a regular fan rated it will cause the light to not work properly because the switch is not rated LED compatible. THX
