A:  Havent made use of it yet.

    A:  No velcro

A:  I personally have not had the need to use the strap for any reason. What I can say is that the backpack itself is well made. I carry a lot of tools and it's heavy to carry. The strap seems to be strong when it comes to the material (velcro) is concern but I won't carry it by using the straps. If you just using the straps to hold the backpack from falling over as luggage, I'm sure it would do fine. Hope this helps.

A:  I found the strap to be strong enough to carry a heavy load without problems, One strap is enough ,I've not had any problems , it is a high end product.

        by|Nov 9, 2019

A:  The rear Velcro strap works well on the dolly. The hard plastic base of the backpack and the weight of the tools in the bag keeps it in place when hauling it around in a dolly. The strap isn't meant to carry a load but merely to just to keep the top end of the bag in place. Although the adjustable strap is provided to haul the jobsite backpack around in a dolly the real winning feature are the shoulder straps. These straps are what makes this tool bag so awesome. I can carry my tools on my back and one or two power tools or equipment items in my hands. This allows me to make less trips to and from my work truck and the repair site. So in closing I think that adding a top stabilizing strap was a well thought of feature to add additional carrying options to the technician if using the shoulder straps in not ideal for the situation of task at hand. HAPPY VETERANS DAY 2019 to all my present and past brothers and sisters.

            A:  No.

            by|Nov 5, 2019

A:  This backpack in not intended to carry laptops. It does not have the padding built inside like typical computer bags. With that being said this back pack would not be ideal for use as a hand carry bag while traveling via our airlines. Consider this bag strictly as a tool bag that holds basic hand tools that can be carried like a backpack to the jobsite.

A:  No, it doesn't. Why the Milwaukee reps said it has a laptop pocket is beyond me. I saw one in the photo on this page so I bought one only to find that the product doesn't match the photo.

A:  I would not recommend it. Plastic base may damage the washer. The bag itself might survive a normal wash cycle but may loosen the stitching which may lead to separating seams. I recommend google searching for a canvas bag cleaning videos and avoid the washing machines.

A:  I use them for attaching items like water bottles, tools etc. They and also be used for straping down the bag as attach points. Use of bungees, carabiners, and other tiedown items can slip in the loop to secure things .

I used this for my electrial tools and it gets pretty heavy so i got the portable dolly when I need the tools for moving around .Lately Ive removed all the tools and have use it for riding my Motorcycle. Ive used it for some hiking packed with gold panning equipment , works well for many uses.

A:  I also have noticed the issue you have brought up. I did try to use my Backpack after I returned to work after open heart surgery and I could not use it since it pulled to much on my shoulders and upper chest. I at that time decided I had to carry less inside to lower the weight and or use a dolly till I was capable of holding the load. Now in defense of Milwaukee designers this pack is not as large as a hiking backpack that is longer and does sit as far as your waist and carries much heavier loads and does require a hip belt to carry the load. I love that Milwaukee did come up with a solution and that is in their PACKOUT 22 in. Rolling Tool Box. Model # 48-22-8426 Internet #303005865

A:  It Does have a front strap that goes across the two shoulder straps, like at mid point. Keeps the bag closer to your back. Milwaukee makes a smaller bag also that holds enough gear to work with. Look into it first.

A:  I have one of the Milwaukee jobsite backpacks and it works well for me. I do kitchen and bath remodels so I only wear it for the short walk from the van to the room that is being remodeled so I'm not wearing it long enough for it to get tiresome (it's not meant to be used for backpacking). I'm actually glad that it doesn't have a bunch of straps and clips, easy on and easy off. I really like the hard plastic base because it sits upright and doesn't tip over. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
