A:  I can't find the serial number on the site it is on the box, you want the H96A. All the H96B were supposed to be recalled but I would verify on the box before buying it.

A:  Hello! The ONLY product affected is the 2767-20 in bare tool packaging distinguished by “H96B” in the serial code. These products are being sent back to Milwaukee Tool and have been replaced with inventory of “H96A” as of November 1st. 2022. Milwaukee Tool has reverted back to the original “H96A” mechanical design that has been on the market for years. - The Social Team

A:  The new model had a B suffix. All should have been removed from the shelves and stock as a quality control issue.
