A:  We recommend a 40 inch spark screen but any screen larger than 32 inches and smaller than 48 inches should work.

A:  Yes, you can convert this and any wood burning fire pit into a gas burning one very easily! Search EasyFirePits and look at their Gas Kits and Stainless Steel Burner Rings. Also a lot of tips, info, and Q&A about converting over to gas.

A:  We haven’t added a cap. If you do I doubt the metal insert would reach the gravel base. We also didn’t glue the structure together, so we could change location later. Very happy with purchase and delivery.

A:  I installed it directly onto existing pavers. I also bought a round fire grate and a few bags of small landscaping stones and poured them in/around the grate as a barrier and for appearance. This has worked very well for me.

A:  The Grand Fire Ring kit does not come with a steel cover, it can be purchased separately online at Home Depot.
